A safari need not just be about staying under canvas, although to our minds, we can think of nothing better.  However, quite often, when running a mobile safari, the distances that the camp and crew have to cover are too great to break down and re-assemble the camp on the same day. We incorporate a selected lodge or intimate camp into your itinerary while the mobile camp and crew are moving,  not only to ensure maximum comfort but also to maintain diversity within your safari itinerary.

The camps and lodges throughout East Africa are amongst some of the best in the world. We handpick a few properties, which have been carefully selected for their location, uniqueness and because of the characters who own and run them. All the lodges that we choose are small and some of them we can take over exclusively to maintain privacy.

Some of these lodges are on privately - owned land which provides us with amazing opportunities not offered in national parks. This might include activities such as night game driving, bush walks, cycling and horse - riding, to name but a few.

A great way to end a safari is with a little beach holiday - miles of pristine white beach and turquoise waters to soak up the sun and relax before you head home...
